Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and the ability to read tape measures effectively. This role involves working with sheet metal and other materials to build and fabricate components according to specifications. The Welder will ensure high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using various methods, including flux-core or hard wire welding .
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Capable of lifting up tp 80 lbs. Periodically bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Experience
- Must pass a weld test, including machine set-up.
- Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly with sheet metal and structural components.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with operating hand tools and industrial machinery.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.32 - $21.88 per hour
