Mr. Kitchen Home Design is looking for an Interior Designer / Sales Consultant to join our showroom team.
We are looking for someone creative, personable, and professional who enjoys working with clients and helping them bring their vision to life. This role includes meeting with clients in the showroom, assisting with kitchen and bath design selections, presenting cabinetry, countertops, and finishes, following up with leads, and helping guide clients through the sales process.
The ideal candidate has experience in interior design, kitchen and bath, cabinetry, remodeling, showroom sales, or luxury client services. We are looking for someone organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with clients in a warm and professional way.
Experience with design software such as 2020 Design, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or similar is preferred. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission, with room to grow within the company.
Responsibilities:
Meet with clients in the showroom
Help clients with kitchen, bath, cabinetry, and finish selections
Follow up with leads and potential clients
Prepare and present project options and pricing
Help close sales and meet sales goals
Work with the design and project team
Qualifications:
Interior design, kitchen/bath, cabinetry, showroom, or luxury sales experience preferred
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Professional, organized, and motivated
Comfortable speaking with clients and closing sales
Design software experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation:
Base salary of $45,000–$50,000 per year, depending on experience, plus commission based on closed sales.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
