Join our vibrant summer day camp is looking for 2 Instructors specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and Martial Arts! Duties
- Lead engaging STEM activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity among campers
- Teach martial arts disciplines such as Karate, Judo, or other martial arts styles with safety and enthusiasm
- Organize and supervise physical activities including swimming, climbing, basketball, cheerleading, and other sports to encourage teamwork and fitness
- Manage behavior effectively by implementing positive behavior management strategies to ensure a respectful and inclusive environment
- Ensure camper safety at all times by adhering to health and safety protocols; may include lifeguard responsibilities if applicable
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages participation, curiosity, and personal growth in both STEM learning and martial arts training
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to plan daily schedules, special events, and themed activities that enhance the camp experience
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated teaching ability in STEM subjects or physical education environments
- Background in sports coaching or Martial Arts instruction such as Karate, Judo, or similar disciplines
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels in active settings such as health clubs or gyms is a plus
- Strong communication skills combined with enthusiasm for fostering student engagement

Pay: $400.00 - $425.00 per week
