Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter / Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing small construction projects and home and buisness repairs, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Ability to travel to diferent josites for repairs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and ensure customer service standards are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects or repairs as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of facilities (homes and buisnesses) maintenance practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and staff.
- Excellent customer service skills to address maintenance requests professionally.
- Ability to read blue prints a pluss but not required and technical drawings for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience with maintaining various types of equipment using an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools.
- Solid mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically under pressure.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
