Part-Time Dog Walker & Pet Care Associate
Service Area: Richfield, Ohio
Petcare Deluxe LLC is a professional in-home pet care company providing personalized dog walking and pet sitting services throughout Northeast Ohio. Our mission is to keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable in their own homes while giving their owners peace of mind.
We're looking for two dependable, compassionate, and motivated team members to join our growing team in the Richfield area. These are recurring, long-term client visits, making them ideal for someone looking for a consistent part-time schedule.
Current OpeningsPosition 1 – Midday Pet Care Associate
- Approximately 12:00 PM arrival
- 45-minute visit
- Monday–Sunday
- Consistent recurring schedule
Position 2 – Evening Pet Care Associate
- Approximately 6:00 PM arrival
- 45-minute visit
- Monday–Sunday
- Consistent recurring schedule
The client receives care twice daily, seven days a week. We're seeking one team member for the midday visits and another for the evening visits.
Additional morning, afternoon, and evening visits may become available as our client base continues to grow.
Responsibilities
As a Pet Care Associate, you'll provide professional, reliable care to a variety of pets while representing Petcare Deluxe LLC in clients' homes.
Responsibilities include:
- Walking dogs and providing exercise
- Feeding pets and refreshing food and water
- Cleaning litter boxes and maintaining pet areas
- Administering routine medications (training provided for qualified visits)
- Providing companionship, enrichment, and playtime
- Following detailed care instructions for each client
- Sending visit updates, photos, and GPS-tracked report cards through our company app
- Traveling between client homes within your assigned service area
- Monitoring pets for changes in behavior or health and communicating concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Auto insurance meeting state requirements
- Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling, GPS navigation, and visit documentation
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Previous professional or personal animal care experience is a plus but not required
- Must successfully pass a background check
Work Environment
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working independently. You'll regularly:
- Walk dogs in a variety of weather conditions
- Drive between client homes
- Spend extended periods walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary
- Work one-on-one with pets of different breeds, sizes, and personalities

Expected Hours
Approximately 5–10 hours per week for each position, with opportunities for additional hours as your availability expands and new clients are added.
