PROJECT MANAGER
Neat NC | Transitions Reimagined
Wake Forest, NC | Part-time to Full-time, Project-Based, W-2 | Starting at $25.00 per hour
Are You a Natural Leader Who Can Turn Chaos Into Calm?
Neat NC is looking for an energetic, organized, dependable, and confident Project Manager to join our growing team. We are not a traditional moving company. We don't move furniture or transport household belongings. Instead, we specialize in helping clients navigate home transitions through custom organization projects, organized whole-house move-outs, and whole-house move-ins.
ABOUT THE PROJECT MANAGER POSITION
The Project Manager is the onsite leader and operational owner of the project. You will lead professional teams of Home Specialists and Logistics through projects ranging from premier custom organization work to large-scale, multi-day whole-house organized move-outs, and premier move-ins. You will work directly with our Client Experience Manager (CXM) to ensure our clients' needs and expectations are not only met but exceeded.
The PM and CXM work together as a team.
The CXM is responsible for the overall client relationship and experience, while the PM is responsible for exceptional onsite execution, team leadership, productivity, adherence to policies and procedures, quality control, communication, problem-solving, team development, and project completion.
This is a leadership position. Think of this as a ‘clipboard’ position with occasional hands-on work.
You will work alongside your team, direct the work, solve problems, coach and encourage team members, monitor progress, communicate with management and the CXM, and make sure the finished project reflects the Neat NC standard. You will identify and implement efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Your ability to guide, encourage, and motivate the team directly impacts the client's experience. You must be comfortable communicating when and how team members need to improve. Your feedback should be factual, fair, constructive, and focused on helping the team member succeed.
MONITOR PROJECT PRODUCTIVITY
The PM is responsible for keeping the project moving.
You will continuously evaluate:
- Are we on schedule?
- Is the team working efficiently and following policy?
- Are people staying productive?
- Is someone stuck?
- Is something slowing us down?
- Do assignments need to change?
- Are we going to complete the project on time?
- Are we meeting the client's expectations?
When the team falls behind, the PM is expected to take action.
This may mean:
- Reassigning team members.
- Changing the workflow.
- Adjusting priorities.
- Providing additional direction.
- Coaching a team member.
- Communicating with the CXM.
- Escalating an issue to management.
You are responsible for the success of the project—not just your individual tasks.
