Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Staff Supervisor in the Early Childhood Education field to lead and support our team in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. This role involves overseeing classroom operations, mentoring staff, ensuring compliance with educational policies, and overseeing daily completion of tasks. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for childhood development, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to educational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide mentorship and coaching to staff.
- Oversee daily classroom operations, ensuring adherence to educational standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements related to early childhood education.
- Facilitate ongoing professional development
- Monitor compliance with mandated reporting laws, abuse and neglect policies, and other regulatory frameworks governing early childhood settings.
- Support student supervision and mentoring efforts for children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or social-emotional support.
- Support staff in day to day requirements and oversee scheduling.
- Set clear expectations and monitor ongoing staff performance.
- Provide support to families as needed and aid in facilitating staff and families needs.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree, CDA, or other degree; ECE, education, HR, or business preferred.
- Experience in early childhood settings with demonstrated understanding of diverse needs of students and family.
- Familiarity with educational compliance regulations including mandated reporting laws and abuse prevention policies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster collaboration among diverse teams of staff and families.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
