We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial settings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including voltmeters, ohmmeters.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Utilize voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure systems are functioning correctly.
- Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required by project specifications.
- Employ hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on-site.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problematic.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial or residential settings.
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential.
- Proficient in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, hand tools, and power tools.
- Knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
- Must be able to work on construction sites safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
