Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have purchasing knowledge. Ability to oversee our company's purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high quality standards.
Duties:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with business objectives
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms
- Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to delivery
- Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs
- Optimize purchasing procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and procedures
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Vendor management experience
