Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. You will play a vital role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. The position requires proficiency in various dental systems and a commitment to infection control standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Take and record vital signs as part of patient assessments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software systems.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Administer anesthesia.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with a strong understanding of patient care practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding is advantageous.
- Experience using Dentrix software systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and practices is essential.
- Skills in taking vital signs.
