Travel Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (Nights)
We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This is an urgent backfill position requiring an immediate start date.
Position Details

- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to adult patients presenting with a wide variety of medical-surgical conditions requiring continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring.
- Monitor, interpret, and record electronic telemetry strips, identifying any arrhythmias or significant changes in cardiac rhythm.
- Administer medications, manage intravenous (IV) lines, and closely track patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans.
- Quickly recognize and respond to acute changes in patient status or clinical deterioration.
Requirements
- Licensure: Active Louisiana (LA) state nursing license or a valid compact/multistate RN license.
- Certifications: Must have current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Availability: Ability to start immediately (ASAP starts only).
