Social Media Content Creator (Cannabis Industry)
Location: 338 Airline Ave, Portland, CT 06480 (On-site)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (occasional evenings and weekends)

We're looking for a creative Social Media & Content Creator who is comfortable on camera and passionate about creating engaging digital content.
What You'll Do
- Appear on camera to educate, entertain, and connect with our audience
- Create engaging videos, photos, and graphics for social media
- Capture behind-the-scenes content, product highlights, and company events
- Plan and manage a social media content calendar
- Engage with followers and help grow our online community
- Monitor content performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure all content complies with cannabis advertising regulations
Qualifications
- At least one year of paid professional experience creating social media content for an employer, business, agency, or brand.
- Experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Comfortable appearing on camera
- Proficient with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools
- Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age with reliable transportation
- A portfolio, work samples, or links to social media accounts showcasing your professional work are required with your application
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using social media analytics to measure and improve content performance
- Experience with paid social media campaigns
- Experience in the cannabis industry
Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 55 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the day
- Ability to work occasional overtime and attend evening or weekend events as needed
