Senior Ads & Reporting Strategist (Client-Facing)Overview
The Senior Ads & Reporting Strategist is responsible for owning the performance, strategy, and client communication for paid media campaigns across Google, Meta, Microsoft, and other digital platforms.
This is a client-facing, strategic role; not just execution.
This individual bridges the gap between campaign performance and client understanding. They are expected to think critically, communicate clearly, and proactively identify opportunities to improve results.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and articulate;someone who can confidently manage campaigns and also lead high-level conversations with clients about performance, strategy, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Strategy & Communication
- Serve as the ads expert on client accounts, joining regular client calls alongside the Client Relations team
- Clearly explain performance, trends, and strategy in a way clients understand
- Translate data into business insights and recommendations (not just metrics)
- Proactively identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement
- Confidently answer questions and provide direction during client conversations
- Equip internal teams and clients with confident, data-backed answers, especially when performance shifts or declines
Campaign Strategy & Performance Ownership
- Own performance across a portfolio of client accounts
- Develop and guide strategy across:
- Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube)
- Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram campaigns)
- Optimize campaigns based on performance data, lead quality, and client goals
- Continuously test and refine targeting, messaging, and campaign structure
- Identify and reduce wasted spend (e.g., spam leads, poor placements)
Reporting & Insights
- Analyze campaign data and reporting dashboards
- Identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities
- Partner with reporting/analytics team to improve tracking and attribution
- Focus on metrics that matter: cost per lead, lead quality, conversion rates, and downstream outcomes
- Own the accuracy, clarity, and usefulness of all reporting outputs
- Translate performance data into clear, strategic insights and next steps
- Ensure reporting answers three core questions at all times:
- What is happening?
- Why is it happening?
- What are we doing about it?
- Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities before they are surfaced by clients
Internal Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate and oversee internal team members to ensure reporting data is given accurately and on time
- Work closely with Ads Managers to guide execution and optimizations
- Collaborate with Client Relations to align on client goals and communication
- Provide clear direction and feedback to junior team members
- Help improve internal processes, reporting clarity, and campaign performance standards
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay current on platform updates, AI-driven changes, and industry trends
- Bring new ideas to improve campaign performance and efficiency
- Identify scalable strategies that can be applied across accounts
What Success Looks Like
- Clients feel confident, informed, and supported in their ad strategy
- Campaigns show consistent improvement in performance and efficiency
- Issues are identified and solved before clients notice them
- Communication is proactive, clear, and strategic (not reactive or defensive)
- The ads department becomes more consistent, scalable, and effective
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of experience managing and optimizing paid media campaigns
- Strong expertise in:
- Google Ads
- Meta Ads Manager
- Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Proactive, self-directed, and accountable
- Comfortable leading conversations with clients
Nice to Have
- Experience in senior living or healthcare marketing
- Familiarity with CRM and lead quality tracking
- Experience with call tracking, attribution tools, and conversion tracking setups
- Understanding of landing page optimization and conversion strategy
Important Notes
- This is a client-facing role, but Client Relations owns the relationship; this role owns performance and strategy
- This role is expected to take initiative, think strategically, and continuously improve performance

Employment Structure
All positions begin as a 90-day contract-to-hire.

Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
