American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Pulmonary Stepdown (Progressive Care) night shift position in Indianapolis, IN, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active IN or compact RN licensure.

44-bed Medical Pulmonary Stepdown unit serving a medically complex patient population
-
All patients are on bedside cardiac monitors
-
Typical RN-to-patient ratio of 1:4
-
Active drips include heparin, insulin, cardizem, nicardipine, and dobutamine
-
Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
-
36 hours per week
-
Every other weekend required
-
One major holiday per contract required
-
Active IN or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

BLS certification required (AHA-issued)

ACLS certification required (AHA-issued)
-
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
-
Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Copy of certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration

Provide progressive care nursing to medically complex pulmonary and medical patients
