Job Overview
Liftoff ABA is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct ABA therapy services to children in the Newark, NJ area. In this role, you will work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in ABA, education, special education, childcare, tutoring, classroom support, psychology, child development, or direct support who wants to make a meaningful difference for children and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home and community settings
- Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill-acquisition plans as directed by the BCBA
- Support clients with communication, social, daily living, adaptive, and academic-readiness skills
- Collect accurate session data and document client progress
- Use positive behavior support strategies to help reduce challenging behaviors
- Collaborate professionally with families, supervisors, and clinical team members
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Background in ABA, education, special education, childcare, tutoring, psychology, or related fields is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, patience, and reliability
- Ability to follow clinical direction and accept feedback
- Comfortable providing services in person in or near Millburn, NJ
Schedule and Pay
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- $33.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
