Responsibilities
- Transport of lumber and building materials to and from store to residential customers.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules as required by our customer.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Report defects, accidents or violation if necessary.
- Skills
- Work experience as a truck driver preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
- Valid CDL license, Class A or Class B.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc).
- Experience operating a forklift/moffet. However, we will train the right person.
- High level of communication to owner, customer and retail customer through phone, text or in person.
Daytime hours- NO overnights! Workday/hours will depend on daily load requirements by our customer. Part-time or Full-time hours available- we are flexible with a schedule.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
