Education -
Required – Calibration, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Quality, or Systems Engineering; Associate of Applied Science, Engineering Technologies degree, 2-year vocational or equivalent education/experience
Preferred - Calibration Engineering Technology Associate of Applied Science or Calibration Technician Certification Program
Experience -
Required – 2 to 3 years in industrial or manufacturing calibration experience
Preferred – 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing calibration experience, with some pneumatic calibration experience
Special Knowledge/Skills -
Required
- Proficient with Windows based PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Read, interpret and understand specifications and schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Self-driven, organized, critical thinker, and high attention to detail
- Ability to communicate well verbally and through written reports/procedures
- Understanding of NIST traceability
Preferred
- Understanding of pneumatics (pressure & flow), electrical (DC & AC), and forces
- Oxygen safety training
- Aptitude for math, technical writing, and advanced knowledge of computers (i.e. serial communications, setting up drivers and applications)
