Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping to ensure spotless surfaces
- Follow strict safety protocols when handling chemical agents and performing manual handling tasks to prevent accidents
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all areas meet sanitation standards and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, safety procedures followed, and equipment used
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor vacuums, mops, and scrubbers
- Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards is essential
- Experience with heavy lifting and safe lifting practices to move supplies or equipment efficiently and safely
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members in a courteous manner
- Background in facilities maintenance or general upkeep roles enhances your suitability for this position
