Must have at least 2 years of professional pet grooming experience.
Pay is based on experience and skill level.
Responsibilities:
- Provide grooming services to a variety of dogs
- Perform bathing, brushing, haircutting, and nail trimming according to client specifications
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their preferences and address any concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
Skills:
-Ability to groom a minimum of 5-6 dogs that require an attachment comb and scissor work, with 2 of the dogs being standard sized doodles. Bather is provided in most cases.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in pet grooming techniques and styles
- Proficiency in handling and restraining animals safely and calmly
- Ability to assess the health and condition of pets' skin, coat, ears, teeth, and nails
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and understand their needs
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
***We pay hourly and offer paid vacation, paid holidays, matching retirement plan and continuing education across the country. Saturdays are required, with one off a month. Must be able to pass a drug test. Marijuana not included.
