Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Medical Psych unit requiring an active ME or compact RN license and 2 years of experience

Details

Medical Psych unit (P6) serving the adult patient population
0.9 FTE position, 36 hours per week on night shift
Shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Uses Epic EMR
25-mile float policy between facilities as needed

Requirements

Active RN license (ME or compact) required
BLS and other AHA certifications required by start date (non-AHA equivalents accepted at time of consideration)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Driver's License required for consideration
2 professional references required

Additional Information

Provide psychiatric nursing care to adult patients on a medical psych unit
RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
Local candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are welcome to apply
