Description: Transportation Department - Bus Driver (50% FTE) - 2026-2027 School Year

Salary is determined based on years of experience
This is a 9.5 month position, 4 hours (minimum) per day, Monday - Friday
Qualifications:
-
Must be 21 years old
-
Must have excellent driving record and skills
-
Must possess, or the ability to obtain, a valid Missouri Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with passenger, school bus, and air brake endorsements.

Must successfully complete pre-employment and annual Department of Transportation (DOT) physical

Must successfully complete pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing
-
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of transportation safety regulations and procedures
-
Must be mature, reasonable and responsive to the needs of students

Previous professional driving experience preferred
Working Conditions:
Drive school bus as scheduled
Travel Requirements:

Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
