Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide operations and managerial support to the assigned distribution center. Lead the operations management team to achieve high levels of service while driving operating efficiencies to meet and exceed our client’s standards. The incumbent is responsible for establishing and driving KPI performance, optimizing both storage and handling efficiencies, managing regulatory compliance and achieving financial objectives.

· Assist CEO in operation that has high volume and heavy case-pick shipment velocity
· Drive labor efficiencies including both employee performance and process improvements
· Strategy development to include managing customer relationships through solid communication
· Responsible for warehouse storage and order pick optimization
· Identify opportunities within the DC processes and work with CEO to implement solutions related to system, policies, SOP, labor tracking, profit margins, etc.
· Identify KPI shortfalls and develop strategies with CEO to implement solutions
· Review and understand customer contracts to ensure continuity and success for operations
· Support P&L activity for the DC
· Financial management to include budgeting, planning and profitability analysis
· Drive profitability and operational excellence for the DC
· Successfully manage a team of exempt, nonexempt employees
· Develop and drive high performance teams and effective supervisors
· Support 5-S activities within the DC
· Assisting CEO and partner with other leaders to drive inner company department excellence
· Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner while anticipating critical deadlines
· Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
· Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook
· Basic working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
· Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems such as Extensive.
· Strong customer service skills
· P&L experience
Education, Experiences, Certificates/Licenses and/or Registrations:
· Bachelor of Science in Business, Supply Chain, etc. or relevant experience.
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing within a 3PL environment
Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand to perform work. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, smell, talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull or move up to fifty (50) pounds or more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy and the employee may be exposed to extreme weather. Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
