Program Manager - Human Services
We are hiring a Program Manager to provide professional and technical leadership to our program staff in Northeast Connecticut.
This is a full-time position offering an annual salary of $59,000 to $62,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including company matching 401(k) and up to 4 weeks of PTO.
The Program Manager plays a key role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality service delivery, and driving program success. This position involves managing staff, monitoring financial performance, and fostering continuous improvement across all service areas.
This includes:
- Overseeing staffing schedules and managing workloads to ensure service needs are met.
- Maintain accurate program records.
- Providing coaching, training, and professional development for staff.
- Supporting marketing efforts through the creation of program materials.
- Preparing program reports and conducting staff performance evaluations.
- Represent the program by participating in agency and community meetings
- Tracking and managing program budgets.
- Identifying challenges, implementing appropriate interventions, and measuring outcomes.
We require Program managers to have:
- A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory and program management experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of human services experience.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or mental health issues.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
- The ability to travel for business up to 25%.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
