Cashier – Masa Tamales & Taqueria
Masa Tamales & Taqueria is hiring a friendly, reliable, and responsible Cashier to join our team.
We are currently hiring for both of our locations in Point Richmond and El Cerrito.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take orders accurately
- Handle cash and card payments
- Answer phone calls and assist with restaurant information
- Check orders before giving them to customers
- Keep the cashier area, dining room, and front counter clean
- Restock utensils, drinks, and supplies
- Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties
- Follow uniform, food safety, and customer service standards
Requirements:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work well with a team
- Restaurant or cashier experience preferred, but training is available
Pay: From $19.18 per hour
Work Location: In person
