Work Model: Hybrid – Standard business hours (8-hour shift, Monday through Friday).
Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered
Summary of the Role:
BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Systems Engineer to join our client’s site in Phoenix, AZ. This role will support the development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, integrate, and verify core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications.
- Support systems/software requirements development, validation, integration, and verification.
- Perform model-based system design (using Simulink, preferred).
- Develop ARINC 661 graphics (using Scade, preferred).
- Work with sensors used for aircraft position and navigation, including Air Data, AHRS, and GPS.
- Integrate or interface with aircraft systems such as flaps, landing gear, cabin pressure, and FADEC.
Qualifications:
- Engineering or Computer Science degree.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Systems/software requirements development, validation, integration, or verification.
- Model-based system design.
- ARINC 661 graphics development.
- Experience working with aircraft position and navigation sensors (Air Data, AHRS, GPS).
- Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Simulink for model-based system design.
- Experience using Scade for ARINC 661 graphics development.
