Property Maintenance Technician

Pay: From $37.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate is skilled, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in quality workmanship.
Must have own truck and tools. Gas mileage is reimbursed.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Inspect properties to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety and building codes
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property management, prioritizing urgent repairs
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and materials used
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when necessary
- Perform seasonal and exterior maintenance tasks as needed
- Monitor building systems and equipment to ensure proper operation
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and common areas
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance issues independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and efficiency
- Must have own truck and tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to be on-call and work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
