What You’ll Do
-
Aid in development of quality and inspection plans from design drawings, meeting company requirements for ISO 9001, ISO 13485.
-
Program and operate CMM / Faro Arm to specifications.
-
Ability to analyze and interpret blueprints to include noted specifications and GD&T requirements.
-
Determine gauge and fixture requirements.
-
Perform inspection on first piece, in process, purchased part and finished material and products, ensuring conformance to specifications.
-
Test finished products for paint and plating, quality and thickness, dimensions, profile and appearance.

Complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports, damage reports, return reports, and re-work orders.

Analyze quality data, identify problem areas, and assist in resolving manufacturing processes or methods that affect quality.

Perform process capability studies; recommend changes to improve quality.

Ensure product quality and deadlines are met.

Assist the organization in enforcing the Quality System and maintain consistent standards for RTD.

Identify Corrective and Preventative Actions.

Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality problems; ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes and methods.

Coordinate and implement cost saving measures.

Assist in development and implementation of procedures and controls to promote efficient lean operations of the organization and ensure the groups follow those procedures and controls.

Ability to multi-task many jobs.

Able to work overtime when requested to meet the needs of customer timelines.

Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.
-
Recognize, report, and correct errors.
-
Support the company's quality policy, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 5S practices, LEAN and world class manufacturing initiatives.

Commit to the corporate goals, mission, and vision.

Regular physical attendance is required.

Travel, as required.

What We’re Looking For
-
High school education or GED.
-
Strong mathematical and reasoning abilities.
-
Strong desire to learn new skillset: software, measuring tools, high-tech machines.
-
Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Requirements:
-
Reverse engineering, Solid Modeling, CMM Programming knowledge.
-
Blueprint knowledge including GD&T.
-
Intermediate use of Microsoft software.
-
Prior experience working with automotive, aerospace and medical industries.

Prior machining or CNC operation.
-
Experience working in a job shop manufacturing environment.
