We're partnering with a growing company in Cottage Grove that is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to provide immediate support during a busy season. This is a contract opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position based on business needs and performance.
What You'll Do
As part of the accounting team, you'll play a key role in keeping daily financial operations running smoothly by:
- Processing high-volume accounts payable transactions
- Reconciling corporate credit card statements
- Managing a shared Accounts Payable email inbox
- Assisting with inventory-related accounting activities
- Utilizing SAP to process and maintain financial records
- Preparing reconciliations and reports using Excel
- Supporting multiple locations while balancing competing priorities
Required Qualifications
- Recent Accounts Payable experience is required
- Strong Excel skills, including reconciliations and reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience managing high-volume workloads and competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience is strongly preferred
- Accounts Receivable experience is a plus
- Inventory-related accounting experience is a plus
