Personal Trainer — Independent Contractor, Rent Capped at $200/Week
You bring the clients. You set your rates. You keep the revenue.
We cap what you pay us at $200 a week — and that is the most you will
ever pay, no matter how much you train. No split. No percentage. No
monthly nut hanging over you whether you trained or not.
Run the math on your own book
Say you run 15 hourly sessions a week at your rate. On a typical
60/40 studio split, the house takes 40% of every one. Here, you pay
$200. That's it. Everything past your eighth hourly session in a week
is 100% yours.
- $15 per 30-minute session
- $25 per 1-hour session
- Hard cap of $200/week
Slow week? Four sessions costs you $100. You are never paying for
space you didn't use.
The part most gyms won't give you
A room full of people who already know you.
You'll teach three group classes a week — Monday, Wednesday, Friday,
4:45–5:30 PM, paid on top of everything you earn training. That block
puts you in front of our members three times a week, every week. We
have a real member community here and we will actually promote you to
it. Most facilities rent you a corner and wish you luck.
That's the whole deal: the cheapest place in the county to run your
book, attached to the only thing that actually grows one.
The setup
You run your own training business out of our facility as an
independent contractor. Your clients, your programming, your rates,
your schedule. We're a single-location functional fitness gym in
Rohnert Park built on three things: Strength, Health, and Community.
What you'll do
- Train your own clients — assessments, program design,
progression, coaching form and mechanics.
- Teach the M/W/F 4:45 PM class. We're functional fitness; we'll
walk you through how we program so it stays consistent with the
rest of the week.
- Keep your training area clean and reset between sessions.
- Be a good presence in the room. Our members are the reason this
works.
What we're looking for
- Current certification from a recognized organization (NASM, ACE,
ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent).
- You can coach a room. Leading 15 people through a class is a
different skill than coaching one person, and we need you good at
both. This is the non-negotiable.
- 1+ year training clients.
- An existing client base is a strong plus — but if you're building
one and you want a room full of members to build it in, tell us
that.
- Someone people want to be around. We're a community gym, not a
rental locker.
The short version
- Rent capped at $200/week, pay-per-session, nothing when you're
not training
- Paid separately for three classes a week
- Your clients, your rates, your programming
- A gym that will actually promote you to our members
Interested? Apply and tell us two things: what your training
situation looks like right now, and how many clients you'd be
bringing with you (zero is a fine answer — say so).
