About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team for early morning specimen collection. This contract/part-time opportunity is ideal for a phlebotomist who is committed to high-quality patient care and is looking for a flexible yet impactful role. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting blood specimens from patients at various locations, ensuring patient verification, specimen integrity, and safe transportation.
Responsibilities
Patient Verification: Verify test requisitions against nursing station logs and address discrepancies with facility personnel.
Specimen Collection: Perform venipunctures with precision and care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Safe Transportation: Ensure safe transport of self and specimens while accurately tracking mileage per management guidelines.
Specimen Integrity: Follow aseptic techniques, department protocols, and isolation procedures to maintain sample quality.
Documentation & Tracking: Record collection details, including initials, date, and time of collection, to ensure accurate tracking.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following all legal and industry regulations.
Data Entry: Utilize laboratory information systems to enter sample acquisition details.
Professionalism & Community Service: Uphold professional standards, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Enhancing Laboratory Reputation: Take initiative in maintaining the highest standards in phlebotomy services.
Required Skills & Qualifications

What We Offer
