Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Your expertise in financial software, accounting principles, and compliance standards will be essential to maintaining the integrity of our financial operations. Responsibilities
- Full cycle accounts payable processing, including vendor invoices, payment processing, and vendor account reconciliation
- Full cycle accounts receivable management, including invoicing customers, posting payments, collections, and account follow-up
- Weekly bank and credit card transaction entry and reconciliation
- Prepare and process daily check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment issues
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Process journal entries and assist with month-end close procedures
- Monitor cashflow and assist management with financial reporting
- Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts
- Maintain organized account files and records
- Ensure all accounting transactions are entered accurately and timely
- Perform additional financial/administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping, AP/AR, or accounting experience
- Experience reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of QB Enterprise
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Must have a professional demeanor
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
- must have an elevated level of diligence
- Must have the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Educational Requirements
- Must have at least an Associates (AA or AS) in accounting
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
