Launch a career in semiconductors — no chip industry experience required. If you've turned wrenches as a mechanic, worked as a lab or maintenance tech, or have strong mechanical aptitude and love troubleshooting, we will train you to certify the systems behind one of the largest semiconductor construction projects in the United States — located in Taylor, TX.
As a Test Technician you'll certify Ultra-High Purity (UHP) gas and chemical systems using helium leak detection, particle counting, and moisture/oxygen analysis — the final quality gate before chip production equipment goes live.
PAY: $20–$30/hour based on experience. Overtime (1.5x) after 8 hours/day Mon–Fri and ALL DAY Saturday. Double-time (2.0x) after 12 hours/day and ALL DAY Sunday.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Perform inboard mass spectrometer (helium) leak testing: calibrate detectors, pull vacuum, spray helium at welds and connections, evaluate pass/fail, troubleshoot
- Perform particle count testing with purified nitrogen/argon and particle analyzers
- Perform moisture and oxygen testing with analyzers
- Verify test setups: purge lines, purifiers, manifolds, isolation valves, regulators, filters
- Perform Lockout/Tagout as required
- Inspect systems to drawings, make tie-in connections, and deliver turnover documentation
- Generate test reports for tool certification
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude — any of the following count: auto mechanic, maintenance tech, lab/analytical testing, NDT/NDE, QC/QA, leak or pressure testing, cleanroom tech, semiconductor equipment operator, instrumentation and controls, piping, gas panels/cabinets/VMB, Applied Materials or tool hook-up experience
- Physically fit: lift/push/pull 50 lbs daily, walk several miles per shift, climb ladders, work at heights with fall protection
- Dependable, on time, self-motivated to learn
- Professional appearance and communication with the client's personnel and engineers
