About the Opportunity

Strategic Partner Solutions (SPS) is hiring Commercial Carpenters for specialty commercial and industrial construction projects. Our client specializes in cold storage, refrigerated warehouses, food processing facilities, and insulated metal panel (IMP) systems.
Previous cold storage experience is NOT required.
If you have a strong commercial carpentry background and experience with commercial doors, trim, blueprint reading, layout, metal fabrication, or building envelope systems, our client is willing to train the right individuals.
We are currently staffing a project in Ohio, but we are recruiting nationwide. Qualified travelers from anywhere in the United States are encouraged to apply.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware
- Install insulated metal panels (IMP) and related building components
- Fabricate and install metal trim using manual metal brakes
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout drawings
- Perform layout and field measurements
- Assist with rigging and guiding panels during crane and lift operations
- Apply sealants and finishing details for weatherproof performance
- Operate aerial lifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts
- Safely use hand tools and power tools
- Maintain OSHA-compliant work practices and jobsite organization
Commercial Carpenter I (1–3 Years)
$20–$22/hr DOE
Qualifications
- Commercial construction experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel
Commercial Carpenter II (3+ Years)
$24–$26+/hr DOE
Preferred experience with one or more of the following:
- Commercial door installation
- Manual metal brake operation
- Metal trim fabrication
- Blueprint reading
- Building envelope systems
- IMP panel installation
- Refrigerated warehouse construction
- Food processing facilities
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 10
- OSHA 30
- Aerial Lift
- Forklift
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights
- Own basic hand tools
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel
