Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Assistant to support our facilities and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical , with experience in facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, efficiency, and quality are paramount. The Maintenance Assistant will collaborate with team members to ensure all equipment and facilities operate smoothly, adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.
Work schedule is Tuesday - Saturday.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems.
- Conduct residential painting, electrical work, and mechanical repairs as needed
- Supervise or assist with projects ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
- Support safety protocols by inspecting work areas and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams by addressing maintenance needs promptly.
- Help team with snow removal when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics is essential.
- Skills in residential painting, repair
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
