Responsibilities:
- Assist with teaching makeup artistry techniques in after-school programs, grades ranging from K-12.
- Assist with applying makeup products and techniques on students and mannequins to achieve desired looks
-Collaborate with makeup artist instructors to help students enhance their artistry skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest makeup trends and techniques
- Sanitize/clean and maintain all makeup tools and equipment
-Assist with set-up and breakdown of teaching tools.
Skills:
- Knowledge in in applying various makeup techniques, including eyelash strips
- Knowledge of color theory and ability to create harmonious makeup looks is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively understand students needs and preferences
-Experience in cosplay, special effects, face painting is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for students
