American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg (Acute Care) night shift position requiring at least 1 year of experience and prior travel assignment experience.

Acute care Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting with 44 beds
-
Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
-
Patient ratio of 1:5, with possibility of 1:6 on both days and nights
-
CNA support available, generally at a 1:10 ratio (may also serve as sitters)
-
Telemetry is present on the unit but monitored by a separate unit
-
Floating required to all acute care, cardiology (for medical patients), and the EC for acute care patient holds
-
Every other weekend required

Holiday coverage on an as-needed basis

MEDITECH EMR used; experience preferred but not required
-
22-week contract

Active RN license in Georgia (GA) or a Compact state license currently in hand

Current BLS and NIHSS certifications, both must be issued by AHA

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

At least 1 prior travel assignment required

A copy of your Driver's License is required for consideration

Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (based on address on Driver's License) to be eligible

Scrub color required: Caribbean Blue

Orientation consists of approximately 1 week of general orientation (including EMR training) followed by 2 days of floor-specific orientation

Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Any time-off or scheduling requests must be submitted and confirmed at the time of assignment acceptance
