We are a well-established and busy industrial manufacturing company in Anaheim seeking an experienced Shop Painter to join our team. Stable schedule with consistent overtime available.
Responsibilities:
- Paint metal materials (steel, mild steel, sheet metal, beams, columns)
- Prep surfaces prior to painting — sanding, buffing, and surface grinding
- Mix oil- and water-based paints
- Prime and prepare surfaces before application
- Use HVLP spray gun for finish work
Requirements:
- Industrial shop painting experience required (no residential/commercial)
- Experience painting industrial equipment, steel, or automotive-style finishes preferred
- Knowledge of surface prep techniques (sanding, grinding, buffing)
- Comfortable using HVLP spray equipment
- Reliable and able to keep up with a fast-paced production schedule
