House Manager
As a House Manager, you would be responsible for the care and wellbeing of all guests at Tranquility Estates.
A House Manager is a member of the multidisciplinary team who is directly involved in providing quality care for guests. The House Manager is responsible for providing structure and support services for adults with substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders. The House Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of day-to-day operations for the specific house they manage, creating and maintaining a professional rapport with all guests, training new and existing staff in policy implementation, and generally setting the standard for the level of care Tranquility Estates provides to its guests.
Key Accountabilities
- Providing a safe, therapeutic environment for guests
- Facilitating all guest rules and regulations, reporting non-compliance to leadership
- Directing and monitoring guests through day-to-day life
- Transporting guests to and from their treatment facilities
- Providing daily reports to leadership
- Building positive relationships with staff as well as guests
- Displaying adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment
- Maintaining household inventory at all times
- Ensuring all new guest onboarding documentation is completed and submitted to the Housing Supervisor in a timely manner
- Ensuring household maintenance
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Housing Supervisor and Director of Operations
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience required.
- At least 2 years' professional experience in Substance Use and/or Mental Health
- Knowledge of general office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, scanners etc.
- Active, unimpeded driver's license and clean driving record
