Position Summary
The Packaging & Pre-Roll Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality packaged cannabis products and pre-rolls in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Maine cannabis regulations. This role requires attention to detail, productivity, adaptability, and teamwork to ensure products meet established quality and compliance standards. The ideal candidate can work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Packaging Responsibilities
· Package various quantities of cannabis flower for retail stores and wholesale orders.
· Follow all company SOPs and safety procedures.
· Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
· Participate in end-of-shift cleaning tasks.
· Report to work on time and notify leadership at least two hours in advance if unable to attend a shift.
· Check in with a Lead before leaving for the day.
· Obtain and maintain an Individual Identification Card (IIC) for employment in a licensed cannabis facility.
Pre-Roll Responsibilities
· Produce pre-rolls according to company quality and productivity standards.
· Operate and maintain pre-roll equipment safely and effectively.
· Adapt to different strains and production tasks as needed.
· Identify potential quality issues and communicate concerns to leadership.
· Maintain production expectations as established by department standards.
Qualifications
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· Ability to follow detailed instructions and company SOPs.
· Strong attention to detail and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
· Must obtain and maintain required state credentials (IIC).
Physical Requirements
· Ability to work directly with dried and ground cannabis flower.
· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
· Ability to work 10-hour shifts.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
· Ability to perform repetitive hand and fine motor tasks.
