Maintenance Technician
We are a national property management company with multiple sites in the Saratoga County, NY area. We are seeking to hire a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our local team!
Responsibilities
- The technician must be able to make general HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs, perform general maintenance, and respond to emergency situations.
- The technician must be able to communicate with management in a clear and timely manner.
- The individual must work well in a team-oriented environment, respond to emergencies, and participate in on-call duties.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using the company’s software/app.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in residential building maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic building system operations, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical, is required.
- Computer literacy is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical guides.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer service-oriented mindset and attitude.
