Our tree care crew is hiring an experienced climber who takes pride in doing the work right. Day to day, you'll be up in the canopy handling pruning and removals across commercial properties. If you know your knots, respect your gear, and want a spot where your experience actually gets used, this is a good fit.
Beyond the climbing itself, we're looking for someone willing to bring newer crew members along - showing them the right way to rig, cut, and stay safe.
What You'll Be Doing
- Ascending and working aloft with proper PPE and climbing systems to prune, thin, and remove limbs
- Evaluating tree condition on site and flagging health or hazard concerns to the foreman
- Coaching less-experienced crew members on climbing fundamentals and safety procedure
- Inspecting, cleaning, and servicing saws, ropes, saddles, and rigging so gear stays field-ready
- Directing ground crew on rigging, drop zones, and cut sequencing throughout the job
What We're Looking For
- Background in tree work
- Comfortable directing others and setting the tone for the crew
- Solid working knowledge of climbing methods and industry safety practice
- Physically up for demanding outdoor work at height, year-round
- Clear communicator with crew members, supervisors, and property contacts
- Treats safety as non-negotiable, every job, every day
