Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent customer service skills. The Truck Driver will operate different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
Duties
- Safely operate and drive various types of trucks, flatbeds
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Assist in the maintenance of the truck by reporting any mechanical issues or required repairs.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driving with knowledge of freight handling.
- Familiarity with loading and some tarping flatbeds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently
