We're seeking versatile, safety-focused CDL-A drivers for our Level III OTR/Live Haul Team. This is a high-priority position offering excellent daily pay, a guaranteed minimum when work is unavailable, and a variety of local, regional, and specialized hauling opportunities.
Pay
✅ $300 per day for AM shifts
✅ $325 per day for PM shifts
✅ Daily pay range up to $340 depending on assignment
✅ Daily guarantee if no work is available
✅ Additional pay for weekend dispatches and returns as applicable
✅ Mileage reimbursement when traveling to accounts that do not originate from the Kernersville terminal
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Flexible start times
- Day shifts are most common
- Must be willing to work night shifts when needed
- Local and regional routes
- Occasional weekend work
Important: Drivers will not be required to switch between AM and PM schedules within the same week without a paid break period.
Home Time
Typically home on weekends
Occasionally drivers may:
- Leave on Sunday for regional assignments
- Return on Saturday
- Stay out over the weekend when business needs require
When weekend stays are necessary, a hotel will be provided for the required rest period unless otherwise preferred by the driver.
Equipment & Freight
Drivers must be willing and able to operate:
- Manual and automatic tractors
- Switcher units
- Tankers
- Flatbeds
- Dump trailers
- Chip trailers
- Dry vans
- Livestock equipment
Drivers may initially operate multiple units but will eventually be assigned a dedicated truck whenever possible.
Driver Responsibilities
- Cover a variety of local and regional routes
- Haul live animals and other dedicated freight as assigned
- Safely operate different trailer configurations
- Maintain professionalism and safety standards across multiple customer accounts
- Check in by 8:00 AM when not dispatched to remain available for assignments
- Travel to various account locations as needed
Requirements
✅ Valid CDL-A License
✅ Live Haul Experience Preferred
✅ HAZMAT Endorsement Required
✅ Tanker Endorsement Required
✅ Drivers without current HAZMAT/Tanker endorsements must obtain them within 90 days of hire
✅ Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions
✅ Willingness to run a variety of route types and equipment
✅ Minimum 3-Year Clean Driving Record Required for Live Haul Eligibility
