Mitchell County Public Works Department is accepting applications for a Truck Driver (class A preferred, but class B considered). Duties may include but are not limited to; driving light and heavy trucks in support of projects assigned daily such as construction and maintenance of the county roads; deliver and assist with installation of pipes for driveways, cross drains, and culverts. Assist with safety and traffic control; perform pre-trip and routine maintenance on truck; perform physical labor; and other duties as assigned. The successful applicant must pass a pre-employment background investigation, drug screen, and interview(s). A working test may be required before the hiring process is complete.
