- Title: Food Processing Machinery Specialist
- Where: Madison
- On-site: Yes, full-time
- Shift Differential: Add $2.00/hour for all Third Shift hours worked (not reflected in the starting base rate)
- Run and optimize machinery using defined product and process parameters
- Confirm correct raw materials, packaging, and labels before startup
- Track performance and make in-process adjustments during production
- Check seal integrity, verify fill weights, and confirm label accuracy
- Validate that packaging and finished goods meet specifications and counts
- Accurately complete batch record documentation
- Support line changeovers and complete equipment cleaning
- High school diploma
- Comfort standing for long periods; able to lift up to 20 pounds
- 3+ years’ experience with manufacturing machinery and processes; solid grasp of GMP and SOPs
- Equipment troubleshooting
- Mechanical diagnostics and repair
- Food and beverage manufacturing experience
- HACCP methodology
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Mixing and blending operations
- Raw material weighing
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Understanding of pasteurization processes
- Machine setups for production runs
