Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating Mazak CNC machinery and a keen eye for detail. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, setting up machines, and ensuring precision in the manufacturing process. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate Mazak CNC machines, including milling machines and lathes, to produce precision parts.
- Interpret and analyze CAD drawings to determine machining specifications.
- Set up and calibrate machines for optimal performance and accuracy.
- Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product quality.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC machining techniques and operations.
- Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs.
- Strong understanding of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
