Job Summary:
The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinical staff in the West Creek Clinic Duties include assisting in performing dermatologic procedures, quality assurance, and instrument maintenance under the supervision of the Practice Manager.
Primarily coordinates the clinical teams in the West Creek Clinic to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedback and patient satisfaction. The Clinical Coordinator will also ensure that all patient service standards are met and that all patients have a positive experience in the clinic. They will also be responsible for assisting the Practice Manager with implementing new practices, policies, and protocols.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Coach and oversee training of all new clinical staff in the West Creek Clinic
- Coordinate the clinical staff in the West Creek Clinic, General Dermatology and Mohs, and ensure that they provide excellent patient service
- Assists the Practice Manager by providing constructive and timely feedback on performance of clinical staff
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists administration and support staff with their assigned duties, particularly when more advanced, skilled, or sensitive work is required.
- Helps to implement policies and procedures.
- Assist clinical teams across all clinic locations by helping to uphold quality standards, protocols, and best practices. This includes staying informed on current safety guidelines and contributing to the upkeep and accuracy of clinical protocols to support a safe and compliant care environment.
- Resolve patient complaints/issues
- Monitors adherence to safety regulations.
- Assists the Practice Manager in providing field instruction for clinical staff as opportunities arise.
- Identify and resolve workflow issues that affect clinic efficiency or patient experience.
- Assist with incident reporting, quality assurance, and patient safety efforts.
- Assists clinical teams by covering Medical Assistant duties as needed to support staffing needs.
- Adds in new hires and makes sure that they are placed/scheduled with a trainer
- Adheres to Absolute Dermatology’s policies and procedures, and its code of ethics and complies with HIPAA, OSHA, and all federal and state rules and regulations.
- Complies with Absolute Dermatology’s standard for patient care.
- Assists in ordering clinical supplies as needed
- Actively listen to and comply with communications from the Practice Manager and HR
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Clinical expertise in Dermatology; skills in working with patients in both General Dermatology and Mohs.
- Ability to work as part of a Dermatology team

Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in Dermatology/Mohs
- Certified in CPR/AED and First Aid
- LPN/RN License required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
