A-Line Staffing Solutions is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a leading retail pharmacy chain with nationwide immunization programs. These are full-time, contract roles focused exclusively on administering vaccines in a retail pharmacy environment.
As an Immunizer with A-Line Staffing, you'll be responsible for the delivery of various immunizations—including COVID-19, Flu, Rabies, Typhoid, and others depending on state regulations. This is an onsite position at a designated retail pharmacy location, with some opportunities requiring travel to nearby stores.

Registered Immunizer Registered Nurse (RN) Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
- No weekends
- Please note: Due to the project's short-term nature, no schedule accommodations or time off will be permitted for vacations, appointments, or secondary jobs.
Registered Immunizer Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
- Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Comfortable administering a variety of vaccines, including COVID-19 and Flu
Registered Immunizer Registered Nurse (RN) Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience administering a high volume of vaccines
Responsibilities
- During times when there are no scheduled vaccine appointments, proactively engage customers throughout the store to educate them on available vaccination services, assess interest, and offer immunization screenings in accordance with program guidelines.
- Assess patients and safely administer vaccinations in accordance with established clinical standards.
- Greet customers and patients while providing exceptional service and assistance.
- Demonstrate competency in patient assessment, immunization screening, vaccine administration, and accurate clinical documentation.
- Effectively manage time and prioritize patient care while demonstrating leadership and accountability.
- Coordinate with liaisons to ensure timely arrival and coverage at assigned vaccination sites.
- Complete Vaccine Administration Records (VAR) accurately during or immediately following patient care.
- Communicate patient status updates and concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Utilize computers and available technology to maximize efficiency and communicate effectively with pharmacy teams and liaisons.
- Collaborate with liaisons throughout vaccination clinics to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned.
- Communicate professionally with agency staff, pharmacy personnel, patients, physicians, and family members.
- Administer vaccines safely and in accordance with patient consent, company policies, and established standards of practice.
- Promptly communicate patient concerns, changes in condition, and care needs to physicians and supervisors.
- Provide thorough patient handoff communication when transferring care to another nurse.
