Berkeley Eye Center's Katy location seeks outgoing dependable individual with vision care experience for the position of Ophthalmic Scribe.
This position will be responsible for assisting an Ophthalmologist during the patient exam by documenting the exam (test results, doctor's Q & A, doctor's instructions, etc.) in the Electronic Medical Record system.
A good fit for this position is a person who has 3+ years’ experience in a vision care practice as an Ophthalmic Tech. Strong advantage for those who are bilingual and have scribe experience in a eyecare practice.
Must be familiar with "vision care” terminology and have previous experience with Electronic Medical Records. Outgoing, engaging personality, able to multi-task, change priorities as need arises. Strong data entry skills, excellent communicator, reliable, punctual, honest.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY: 8 AM – 5 PM
TUESDAY: 7:30 AM – 4 PM
FRIDAY: 7 AM – 1 PM
This position may require travel to our Tomball office 1-2 days/month.
