Serving as a companion to clients
Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
Managing medication
Preparing meals
Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills
Performing light housekeeping duties (e.g., keeping room clean, laundry)
Providing bathing and dressing assistance
Keeping proper care records and reporting changes to LCHC management
Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities if available
Following patient care plan
Communicating with families, co-workers and supervisors regarding care
Assisting with transfer and mobility
Shopping and running errands
Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
Onboarding Requirements:
2 forms of state issued ID (Driver's License and SSN card or birth certificate or passport)
If ID cards cannot verify PA residency of the past two years, please provide a document that can establish residency. The document must contain NAME, DATE, ADDRESS.
Background check less than 1 year old (Can bring your own or we can do it and take fee of $22 from first pay)
2 step Tuberculosis test (that is you had a test done on both arms within 30 days of each other and passed, or if failed you passed an X-ray TB test.
- Not Required* Home Health Aide training (Could be CNA certificate, or a Direct Care Worker certificate.)
